Bordeaux Wine Festival

One of the premiere events each year in France is the Bordeaux wine festival, possibly the biggest of it's kind in the world.

Along the waterfront is a 3km road of wine tasting with over 80 appellations being presented.

A unique opportunity to discover the quality, authenticity and diversity of Bordeaux wines where visitors can enjoy sampling a host of different wines.

For just 16 euros you can buy a pass which entitles you to 5 days of:

12 tastings at the booths, i.e. 1 tasting at each booth (10 in all) and your choice of 2 "Favourite" tastings
A glass and a glass holder
1 one-day public transport (TBM) ticket
1 tasting workshop with the Bordeaux Wine School (École du Vin de Bordeaux)
Many advantages and privilege vouchers

During the weekend, tasting booths are open from 11am to midnight on the left bank of the Garonne. Glass in hand and the tasting-pass in the pocket, you wander a 3 km Wine Route between the eighteenth century facades and the river Garonne.

The wines of Bordeaux and Aquitaine are available for tasting in different pavilions and Wine School organises the 2 hour tastings workshops to complete your knowledge. Every day a new animation is programmed for the enjoyment of young and old: running barrels wheelers, Brotherhoods parade, Bacchus' giant banquet...

Hundreds of thousands of people will be there and the Tall Ships crews are renown for their shore-side parties.

Imagine having a wonderful dinner in one of the many plazas watching the festivities.

There couldn't be a more exciting atmosphere to enjoy !
